Get outside this Spring with Move Walking 🌻
With the weather starting to get better, now is a perfect time to get out and about in County Durham.
Walking is a great way to move more. You can start out with a gentle stroll and gradually increase your health and fitness though …longer walks. It's a great way to get out and enjoy the outdoors, meet new people and have fun. Why not join one of our free, short weekly walks which take place in local communities across the County. 📍
➡️ Gentle Steps: Joining one of our Gentle Steps to Walking sessions is a great first step to a more active lifestyle. These walks take place in a flat, enclosed safe environment and are supported by our friendly team. You can walk at your own pace and rest whenever you need to. Gentle Steps walks are great for helping you to build up your confidence and activity levels at your own pace.
➡️ Wellbeing Walk (60 minutes): These short walks will ease you back into our walking programme. All the routes are on a flat paths and are at a gentle pace. They are led by our friendly trained instructors.
➡️ Wellbeing Walks (90 minutes): These walks cover different terrain and routes are relatively flat. However, some routes may include slopes, steps, uneven surfaces and stiles. They are led by our friendly trained instructors.
